The story about "threat" form the DPRK spread by the U.S. warmongers is aimed to cover up their aggressive scenario and stifle the DPRK at any cost, says Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article.

The U.S. ulterior purpose is to ignite a new war for aggression against the DPRK under the pretext of the "threat".

The U.S. regards the Korean peninsula as the gate to Asia in carrying out its pivot to Asia-Pacific strategy for aggression.

The U.S. seeks to ignite a war on the peninsula and use this area as its military strategic base for establishing military domination on Asia.

It is the foolish calculation of the U.S. imperialists that if they spread the story of "threat" from the north, the world will believe it, they will be able to brand the DPRK as criminals and this will help them justify their policy for a war of aggression.

The U.S. should give up such foolish drama to realize its strategic intention under the pretext of "threat from the north."

The U.S. moves to establish the missile defence system and to isolate and stifle the DPRK under the pretext of "missile threat" from the DPRK will not be able to escape worldwide rebuff, denunciation and fiasco.

The U.S. would be well advised to behave itself, bearing in mind its attempt to do harm to the DPRK while vociferating about the "threat from north Korea" is as foolish an act as prickling its own eyes with its own finger.
