The meeting discussed the tasks facing the trade unions to carry out the tasks set forth in supreme leader Kim Jong Un's historic address "Let Us Hasten the Final Victory through a Revolutionary Ideological Offensive" at the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the C.C., GFTUK, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's address serves as a strategic programme indicating the ways of achieving the prosperity of Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea and the ever-victorious future of the Korean revolution.

They referred to the big successes made in the ideological work of the trade unions under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un and underscored the need to intensify the ideological education to thoroughly embody the spirit of the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK.

They called upon all organizations and officials of the trade unions to make a positive contribution to glorifying Kim Jong Un's great era as the era of glory and prosperity making progress and winning victory under the uplifted slogan "Let Us Hasten the Final Victory through a Revolutionary Ideological Offensive."
