It was attended by members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the union and its officials in Pyongyang and local areas.

The meeting discussed the tasks of the women's union organizations to implement the tasks set forth in "Let Us Hasten the Final Victory through a Revolutionary Ideological Offensive", a speech made by supreme leader Kim Jong Un at the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A report of Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the union, was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's speech is a cycle of the great theory of ideology of the Party which is carrying out the Korean revolution on the strength of ideology and single-minded unity by taking the modeling of the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the Party's supreme programme.

They said that the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un led the women's union to fulfill its mission and duty as the organization for ideological education.

Referring to the great successes made in the work of the women's union, holding fast to the Juche-based theory of ideology, they raised the tasks and ways to effect a decisive turn in the ideological work.

They called upon all officials and members of the women's union to fulfill their responsibility and duty in the struggle to bring earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche through the revolutionary ideological offensive.
