It was attended by members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the union and its officials in Pyongyang and local areas.

The meeting discussed the tasks of the union organizations to implement the tasks set forth in "Let Us Hasten the Final Victory through a Revolutionary Ideological Offensive", a speech made by supreme leader Kim Jong Un at the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A report of Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the Central Committee of the union, was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's speech is the immortal militant banner which indicates the ever-victorious way of the Korean revolution.

They said that the union has aroused all its members to fulfill their duty as agricultural workers in the era of Songun in the drive for defending socialism in the past period. This is the fruition of the energetic leadership of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, they added.

They raised tasks and ways arising in further consolidating the union organizations into the militant ranks of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
