S. Korean Chief Executive's European Junket Termed Anti-Reunification, Confrontational

Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- During her recent trip to the Netherlands and Germany South Korean chief executive Park Geun Hye was very busy taking part in the third "nuclear security summit" and holding summits with the U.S. and Japan. She also toured different places, asserting in her speeches the need to learn from the "experience of unification". Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a commentary terms her European junket a criminal anti-reunification and confrontational one to escalate anti-DPRK nuclear racket with the help of outsiders, push the north-south relations into a catastrophe again and realize her deep-seated ambition for invasion of the DPRK. The news analyst goes on: She promised to work to build confidence and stop slandering but behind the scene she hatched plots with outsiders to malignantly slander fellow countrymen and do harm to them. Her double-dealing attitude is disgusting, indeed. The most reasonable way of reunifying the country and achieving prosperity common to the nation as required by the nation is the reunification by a federal formula. Park has gone desperate to "gain a big opportunity of unification" while failing to see even an inch ahead. But she should clearly know that it will be too late to regret deeply when a reunified Korea imposingly emerges. She made a big blunder during her trip. This resulted in further deepening the mistrust and escalating confrontation between the north and the south. The south Korean chief executive should think twice that her single word and behavior may cast a big shadow on the north-south relations and the destiny of south Koreans, the commentary warns. |
