A commentary of Minju Joson Friday brands this as an intolerable fascist action to destabilize and stamp out Chongryon and an intolerable hostile act against the DPRK.

The news analyst goes on:

Chongryon is a dignified overseas Koreans' organization of the DPRK for safeguarding the legitimate rights of the Koreans in Japan and the Korean Hall is an important center of Chongryon's activities for protecting and ensuring the rights and interests of the Korean residents in Japan.

Chongryon has played the role of a diplomatic mission representing the DPRK in Japan as there are no diplomatic relations between the two countries. To destabilize and stamp out Chongryon is, in the final analysis, a deliberate act to deteriorate the bilateral relations, a vivid expression of the Japanese reactionaries' hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The army and people of the DPRK are vehemently denouncing with towering anger the move of the Japanese authorities to illegally seize the Korean Hall of Chongryon in broad daylight.

If the Japanese authorities persistently pursue the moves to seize the Korean Hall, not properly understanding the will of the army and people of the DPRK, they will be held wholly accountable for all the ensuing consequences.

They should behave with discretion, clearly understanding that persecution and suppression of Chongryon and the Koreans in Japan are an unpardonable provocation to the DPRK and a suicidal act of pushing the DPRK-Japan relations to an irretrievable worst phase.
