Kim Jong Un Watches Men's Football Match between Kalmaegi and Jebi Teams

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, watched a men's football match between the Kalmagi team and the Jebi team together with service personnel of the KPA.

When he appeared in the auditorium, the players and audience enthusiastically welcomed him, shouting stormy "hurrah!"

The Jebi team beat the Kalmagi team 4:2.

The audience applauded the players who fully displayed their high football techniques, strong mental power and stubborn spirit.

When the match was over, Kim Jong Un congratulated the players on their successful match, warmly acknowledging the players and audience.

He set forth important tasks to be served as guidelines in remarkably developing sports of the country, saying that in order to develop sports it is important to make the public pay strong attention to sports by frequently organizing football and other sports matches.

Among the audience were Ri Yong Gil, Jang Jong Nam, Pyon In Son, Kim Su Gil, O Kum Chol, No Kwang Chol, Jo Kyong Chol, Ri Pyong Chol, Kim Myong Sik, Jang Tong Un, Yun Jong Rin, Han Kwang Sang, Hwang Pyong So, Ri Jae Il, Pak Thae Song and Kim Sung Yon.
