The theme of the festival is the development of the ultra-modern technology and close combination of science and technology with production.

The festival will be attended by units including scientific research institutes and educational organs, industrial establishments and cooperative farms as well as scientists, technicians, teachers, workers, farmers, Three Revolution Team members and officials. Presented to the festival will be the scientific and technological achievements and experiences which were highly appreciated at the festivals of science and technology held by ministries and national institutions, universities, Pyongyang City and provinces (municipality) in February and March.

Scientific and technological achievements presentation will be held among organizations and individuals and there will also be lectures on ultra-modern science and technology, exchange of new technologies, exhibition contest, etc.
