Put on the stage were oratories including "Great General Is Our Eternal Chairman of NDC," "Yearning," "Great Dedication," "Strong Wind of Leap forward" and "Gunfire for Final Victory."

Speakers praised Kim Jong Il for performing the immortal feats on behalf of the country and the people with his outstanding idea and energetic leadership.

They stressed that Kim Jong Il would always be alive in the hearts of the people as chairman of the NDC of the DPRK as he laid an eternal groundwork for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

They also told stories about the personality of supreme leader Kim Jong Un as a great man as he is bringing the seeds of happiness sown by Kim Jong Il into rich fruits.

They added that the care shown by Kim Jong Un represents a cradle of happiness for all Korean people as he is creating a great epic of respect for the people and love for them, giving top priority to their interests, making them supreme and taking warm care of the children and people with love and affection.

Present at the oratorical contest were Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, and officials of the trade unions, workers and unionists.
