The festival will bring together prestigious art troupes, famous artistes, international concours winners and others from dozens of countries including China, Russia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Austria, Ukraine, Vietnam and Cuba and overseas Korean artistes.

Pyongyang will also welcome figures in the fields of culture and arts coming to swap achievements and experience gained in creating music, dances and acrobatics.

The organizing committee for the festival has finished the arrangements for the festival.

All specific preparations have been wound up to ensure successful opening and closing ceremonies suited to the characteristic features of the international art festival. All arrangements have been made to host its participants and create a festive atmosphere.

The East Pyongyang Grand Theatre, the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, the Moranbong Theatre, the Pyongyang Circus Theatre and other venues of the festival for group or separate performance and joint performances are provided with all conditions so that artistes may fully display artistry and talents.

Audiences will be pleased to watch art presentations against ever-changing and fantastic backgrounds of stages at the theatres equipped with the latest lighting and sound facilities.

The organizing committee finished preparing diplomas and statuettes to be awarded to the successful artistes and worked out good tour programs for the participants.
