Tribute Paid to Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- Members of the Presidium, members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Wednesday on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. Seen standing before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the name of supreme leader Kim Jong Un. Laid before the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet. The participants paid tribute to the statues. In the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state, they made bows to him. They went round the hall where orders Kim Jong Il received are on display and the halls which house a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him. |
