Meetings, book and photo exhibitions and art performances took place in UK, Mongolia and Romania between March 27 and April 1.

Displayed on the front walls of the venues of the events were portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Exhibited there were works of Kim Il Sung, books and photos introducing the service personnel and people of the DPRK in the struggle for building a thriving socialist nation.

Speakers including the general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain and the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) lauded Kim Il Sung as an outstanding leader who made the Korean revolution shine with victory and glory.

The vice-administrative governor of the Ovorhangay Province of Mongolia said:

We are significantly celebrating the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung every year and will positively develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK in the future, too.

The director of the Kim Il Sung Kindergarten in Ovorhangay Province said:

We have held events for celebrating the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung with splendor as the most important work.

We will make efforts to let the children know well about the greatness of the President, socialist Korea and the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.

The chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association said:

The U.S. is making all sorts of desperate efforts to bring the Korean people to their knees through large-scale nuclear war exercises on the Korean peninsula but is sustaining setbacks only in face of the wise strategy of supreme leader Kim Jong Un perfectly possessed of the same steel-like courage and grit as Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's.

We envy very much the Korean people holding the great leader in high esteem.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in UK and Mongolia.
