New Cookeries Presented to Cooking Festival

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- New cookeries were shown at the 19th Cooking Festival held with the approach of the Day of the Sun (April 15). The Okryu Restaurant displayed more than 40 recipes for sturgeon dish and soy source for preparing it. A recipe for ice-cream with green beans and soft bean curd was also presented. The Pyongyang Hotel came out with a recipe for processing duck's egg and cooking sweet jelly with yam. What caught one's eye were recipes for sausage and jelly with skin of catfish, invented by the Tongchonho Restaurant. The Haebangsan Hotel displayed a cookery of making cheese fondue with goat milk and Taedonggang Beer, instead of cow's milk and white wine. |
