The performance began with odes and choruses "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun" and "Our Unforgettable Leader". Put on the stage were colorful numbers praising the President.

The performers sang high praises of the feats the President performed by clearly indicating the way of settling the socialist rural question with his original idea and extraordinary leadership and bringing about epoch-making changes in the countryside.

Also staged were numbers lauding General Secretary Kim Jong Il for making sure that a radical turn was brought about in double cropping and potato farming on the cooperative farms across the country.
