As the world knows, Chongryon is a dignified overseas Korean citizens' body of the DPRK for protecting the legal rights of the Koreans in Japan.

The action taken by the Japanese authorities is a wanton violation of the dignity and vital rights of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and a grave encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK.

We demand Japan halt such an action at once.
