The letter said that Kim Jong Un's reelection as first chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) at the First Session of the 13th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was a great national jubilee guaranteeing the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Mt. Paektu.

It said that upholding Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as eternal president and eternal chairman of the NDC of the DPRK and Marshal Kim Jong Un as first chairman of the NDC is the greatest honor and fortune for the officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan as well as the people in homeland.

It vowed to demonstrate the honor of being the model in conducting the world overseas compatriots' movement by further consolidating Chongryon in an organizational and ideological way, bolstering the single-minded unity and making a tangible contribution to building a thriving nation and accomplishing the cause of national reunification.

The letter emphasized that Chongryon would bring about a fresh heyday in the movement of Koreans in Japan in the era of Kim Jong Un by brilliantly decorating its 23rd Congress as a meeting of loyalty, single-minded unity and inheritance and innovation, bearing in mind the great national pride and self-esteem of being blessed with illustrious leaders generation after generation.
