The Working Citizens' Association of DR Congo said:

The Korean Hall is the center of activities of Chongryon for ensuring rights and interests of Koreans in Japan and it has fulfilled the duty like the diplomatic mission of the DPRK under the condition that there are no diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Japan.

However, the Japanese authorities have long regarded the Korean Hall as a thorn in their flesh and ceaselessly suppressed Chongryon and are now trying to illegally seize the hall.

The Japanese authorities should stop at once such a mean move.

Japan should bear in mind that it is the country which imposed all sorts of misfortunes and sufferings upon the Korean people in the past, make a sincere apology for the disgraceful past and stop discriminating Koreans in Japan.

We call upon world progressives loving justice and truth not to remain a passive onlooker to Japan's anachronistic anti-Chongryon moves but to actively turn out in the drive against the Japanese authorities' criminal act.

The Iranian Workers' House stated as follows:

We thoroughly reject the illegal decision made by the Tokyo District Court under the manipulation of the Japanese authorities.

The Japanese authorities' behavior is a wanton violation of the dignity of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and a grave infringement on the sovereignty of the DPRK.

We demand the Japanese authorities immediately stop the moves to seize the Korean Hall of Chongryon.
