Displayed on the front wall of the meeting place were the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

On display there were works of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea and photos on the theme of "Eternal Day of the Sun".

Present there were personages of the association, the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Korean War Veterans' Council and the Korean Koryo Medical Centre.

Present there on invitation were staff members of the DPRK embassy in Moscow.

Petrov, chairman of the association and chairman of the preparatory committee of the Russian public for marking the Day of the Sun, made a report.

He said:

Kim Il Sung, born in Mangyongdae in the grim period of the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea, led the anti-Japanese armed struggle for a long period, liberated Korea and built a rich and prosperous socialist state in Korea.

He published many famous works, wisely led the Korean people in their struggle for socialist construction and national reunification and powerfully promoted the socialist movement and labor movement of the world.

The cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will be successfully carried forward and accomplished thanks to Kim Jong Un.

Matsegora, vice department director of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Kramarenko, chairman of the war veterans' council, Zhukova, head of the Russian side to the medical center, and other speakers said that Kim Il Sung was a peerless patriot who devoted himself to the country and people all his life and the founder of socialist Korea who built the DPRK into an invincible power.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
