The concours brought together more than 140 youngsters aged 7 to 18 from various countries including the DPRK, Russia, Vietnam and Italy. They competed in instrumental music, vocal music, dance and creative skill according to their ages.

Eight years old Han Il Yong made a debut in the international concours. He successfully performed piano suits requiring a high skill to win applause from its jury and experts.

A special prize and special statuette were awarded to Han at the closing ceremony.
