A national meeting, a book exhibition and a film show took place in Ecuador, a book and photo exhibition and a film show in Romania, a photo exhibition in Nigeria and a friendship concert in Vietnam between March 24 and April 6.

Displayed at the venues of the book and photo exhibitions were photos dealing with the revolutionary life and exploits of Kim Il Sung.

Also on display were works of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and books and photos introducing proud successes achieved by the army and people of the DPRK under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Films shown included a Korean film "Always in Hearts of Mankind".

The chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea who doubles as chairman of the Ecuadorian committee for celebrating the 102nd birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung said in his speech that the President devoted all his life to the independence of the country, happiness of the people and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania expressed his conviction that the book and photo exhibition held in the building of the party on the occasion of the Day of the Sun will mark a significant occasion for fully realizing the greatness of the President.

A department director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said that the banner of independence which was held high by Kim Il Sung served as a motive force greatly encouraging the Korean people and progressive mankind.

The vice-minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam said that the Vietnamese people are deeply revering Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.
