Day of Sun Marked by Paper of Koreans in Uzbekistan

| Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- Thongil, the paper of Koreans in Uzbekistan, on April 10 carried a special write-up on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun). It was illustrated with a photo of his birthplace in Mangyongdae. The paper in an article said that the DPRK is significantly celebrating April 15, the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung who is the eternal President of the DPRK, every year. The paper also introduced the happy working people, school youth and students spending a pleasant time at the Munsu Water Park, accompanied with photos. The paper carried the news that the IAAF-27th Mangyongdae Prize Marathon will be held in Pyongyang on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
