Present there on invitation were members of the delegation headed by National Leader Alberto Anaya Gutierrez.

On hand there were Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, Pak Kun Gwang, vice-department director, and other officials of the C.C., the WPK.

Kang Sok Ju in his speech made at the banquet recollected that the WPM is waging a positive struggle for strengthening the international unity and cooperation with the world progressive political parties.

He extended his thanks to the WPM for sending full support to the WPK and the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula.

He stressed that the WPK would make all possible efforts to further strengthen and develop in the future, too, the friendly and cooperative relations with the WPM provided in the joint struggle for independence and socialism against imperialism.

Alberto Anaya Gutierrez in his speech stressed that he extended warm greetings to supreme leader Kim Jong Un who is firmly defending the sovereignty and dignity of the country with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

He expressed belief that the lifelong desire of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for Korea's reunification would be surely realized.

He hoped that the Korean people would lead a happy life in a dignified, prosperous and reunified country as soon as possible.
