Letter to Kim Jong Un from Participants in IAAF-27th Mangyongdae Prize Marathon

| Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un Sunday received a letter from Head of the Chinese Marathon Team Li Xiu Hua, Athletes' Representative of Germany Gunther Vogl, Athletes' Representative of South Africa Dewald Jacobus Steyn, Head of the Egyptian Marathon Team Ahmed Ibrahim Elwardani Mohamed, Head of the Madagascan Marathon Team Ramalanjaona ep Rakotondrabe Noelilaina Hantarisoa, Coach of the Chinese Taipei Marrathon Team Hsu Gi Sheng, Coach of the Rwanda Marathon Team Ndacyayisenga Jean Pierre and Coach of the Uzbekistan Marathon Team Khubbiev Radik Shavkatovich on behalf of the foreign participants in the IAAF-the 27th Mangyongdae Prize Marathon. The letter said: We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Your Excellency for inviting us to marathon which was held on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people. It gave us an opportunity to know about the sports policy of the DPRK and the strong interests of its people to sports. We were greatly impressed to see the Korean people in their dynamic struggle for building a thriving socialist nation. The letter expressed belief that the Korean people would surely build a thriving socialist nation and realize the reunification of the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. |
