In a speech "Let Us March Forward Dynamically towards Final Victory, Holding Higher the Banner of Songun" made by Kim Jong Un at the military parade for celebrating the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, he reviewed the one century-long history of Kim Il Sung's Korea and provided important guidelines indicating the way to be followed by the new century of Juche.

He published lots of works indicating orientations and ways for developing all affairs including the building of the party, state, armed forces, economy and culture in conformity with the new requirements of the times.

In his work "Let Us Brilliantly Accomplish the Revolutionary Cause of Juche, Holding Kim Jong Il in High Esteem as the Eternal General Secretary of Our Party" he formulated Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the eternal guiding idea of the party and revolution and proclaimed it as the supreme programme of the WPK to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

He published works which clarify the idea of doing all work including the party and state building the way Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il did under any circumstances and advancing the revolution and construction as required by Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism only.

In a historic concluding speech made by him while guiding the Fourth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK he clarified the great idea that Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is, in essence, the popular masses-first principle.

He also published works in which he enunciated the ideas and theories on strengthening the WPK into the staff of the revolution always shining with the august names of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il by deepening the work for establishing the monolithic leadership system of the WPK.

In "Let Us Add Eternal Brilliance to Comrade Kim Jong Il's Great Idea and Achievements of the Songun Revolution" published by him on the Day of Songun in 2013, he stressed the need to carry forward with loyalty and glorify the Songun revolutionary idea and feats of Kim Jong Il forever.

The strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force laid down by him in his report and concluding speech at the March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the C.C., the WPK provides a sure guarantee for winning the final victory in the confrontation with the U.S. and the building of a thriving socialist nation.
