This is the third time for the ensemble to attend the festival.

As in the past, the ensemble put on the festival stage peculiar numbers on the DPRK-China friendship as well as traditional art pieces, leaving a deep impression on the viewers.

Typical of those numbers is a Korean folk dance "Janggu Dance". Gu Xin, head of the ensemble, told KCNA that the ensemble invited a DPRK instructor to prepare the dance and its artistes had made much effort to well represent the Korean people's customs and sentiments in the dance.

There are also serial songs "Tapestry-like Land", mainly based on such popular Korean songs as "The Flower Girl" and "Silk-weaving Girl" and played with traditional Chinese musical instrument, called urheen in Chinese.

Besides, what touched the heartstrings of audiences are Korean songs "Ardent Desire" and "Green Pine on Nam Hill", sung by singers well-known in China.

The ensemble's performance will make contribution to deepening the ties of DPRK-China friendship.
