The message said that the President's birth as the sun of Juche Korea in Pyongyang, holy city of the Korean nation, on April 15, Juche 1 (1912) was a great fortune of the nation which upheld the prominent leader for the first time in the five thousand year-long history of the nation and a great event in which the dawn broke in the era of independence.

It noted that the more than 80 year-long life of the President is the one of the peerlessly great man who glorified the 20th century as the one of the victory of the cause of independence against imperialism and the socialist cause with his outstanding idea, extraordinary leadership and noble virtues, enjoying absolute support and trust from the people. It went on:

The idea and cause of the President could greet the heyday under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of General Kim Jong Il, a great man of Mt. Paektu.

The revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Il will be everlasting together with the national history.

The message noted that the revolutionary cause of Juche, the revolutionary cause of Songun pioneered and glorified by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is being deeply revered by the Koreans as another peerless patriot and peerlessly great man.

The vanguard fighters and patriotic people from all walks of life in the south are firmly determined to certainly achieve national reunification, the lifelong desire of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un, the message concluded.
