The letter said that April 15, Juche 1 (1912) is the day of the great fortune of the Korean nation when the dawn of Juche broke in the country overcast with dark clouds.

As led by Kim Il Sung, Korea once eclipsed on the world map put an end to the history of distress, the DPRK emerged a full-fledged political and military power and the Korean people could demonstrate the dignity as the independent people no one could provoke, it noted.

It praised him as the benefactor of rebirth as he brought a joy of liberation to the Koreans in Japan who shed bitter tears as a stateless nation in an alien land and put forward them as full-fledged overseas citizens of the independent and sovereign state shining with the august name of the sun.

It said that leader Kim Jong Il showed deep trust and loving care for protecting and developing Chongryon till the last moments of his life.

The Juche cause started and glorified by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being carried forward without an inch of deflection and is dynamically advancing toward the final victory under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, the letter said.

All the officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan will strengthen Chongryon formed by Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il into the overseas citizens organization of Juche Korea, remaining loyal to Kim Jong Un, and give fuller play to the honor as a model of the world movement of overseas compatriots, it concluded.
