A meeting for the opening of the camping took place at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Camp on Tuesday.

Present there were Kim Jin Ha, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of party and power organs and youth league in Pyongyang, teachers and employees of camps and campers.

As a bugle declaring the start of camping was sounded, a flag of camping was hoisted amid the playing of song "March of Children's Union".

The campers made a salute toward the flag.

A report and speeches were made at the meeting. Then followed a march-past of the campers.

Meetings for opening camping also took place at the Sokam Schoolchildren's Camp and all other camps across the country.
