Seen standing there was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, organs and enterprises at all levels, factories, farms and schools in Pyongyang and bouquets and flowers.

Also laid before the statues was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Floral baskets and flowers were also placed before the statues and portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of Pyongyang.

Service personnel, people and school youth and children across the country visited the statues and portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in their residential areas to pay high tribute to them.

Meanwhile, staff members of the Chinese and Russian consulates general in Chongjin visited the statue of Kim Il Sung in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province to lay floral baskets and bouquets and pay tribute to him.

On the same day, Chinese residents in Chongjin and foreign guests staying in the city laid floral baskets and bunches of flowers before the statue of Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him.
