Condolences to Nicaraguan President

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on Monday sent a message of sympathy to Daniel Ortega Saavedra, president of Nicaragua, as regards an earthquake that hit Nicaragua, claiming human casualties and material losses.

The message expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the Nicaraguan president and, through him, to the Nicaraguan government and people and the bereaved families of the victims.

It hoped that the Nicaraguan government would eradicate the aftermath of the natural disaster and stabilize the people's livelihood in the afflicted area as early as possible under the leadership of the president.
