A film art critic said that the film art of the DPRK rapidly developed under the wise guidance of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The critic referred to the fact that Korean art films including "The Flower Girl" were widely screened in the past period, evoking great repercussions, and stressed that the friendly cultural exchange between China and the DPRK is briskly under way at present.
