The message expressed firm solidarity with the government and people of Syria in their efforts to defend the sovereignty and security and achieve the socio-economic stability of the country and wished the prime minister fresh successes in his responsible work.

Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong also sent a similar message to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid Al－Muallem on the same day.
