The participants in the meeting laid bouquets before the full-length picture of Kim Il Sung standing together with leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made there and those who visited the homeland gave their impressions of it.

Speakers said April 15 is the significant day when the new era opened in the history of the Korean people, adding there is Korea today thanks to this day.

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as a socialist country centred on the popular masses and a full-fledged independent state which launched satellites and had access to nuclear deterrence despite the harsh blockade of the imperialists, they noted.
