The company put on the stage dances representing the old life of the Belarus people.

Its performance drew a storm of applause with the Korean song "Song of General Kim Il Sung", an immortal revolutionary hymn, sung by the female soloist, Valentina Olshanskaya.

Olshanskaya told KCNA:

Each nation has its favorite songs.

Before coming to Pyongyang, officials of my company suggested that I sing the "Song of General Kim Il Sung", which the DPRK people love so much.

I came to be well aware of the idea of the song through its melodies.

It is the first time for me to visit Pyongyang.

My fellow artistes who visited Pyongyang nine years ago said they were surprised to see Pyongyang, which had undergone remarkable changes.

I want to continue attending the festival in the future, too.
