Over the past 50 years since its founding on April 15, Juche 53 (1964), the museum has successfully performed its duty of educating the visitors in the revolutionary tradition of Juche, recording its proud history under the wise guidance and meticulous care of the party and the leader.

It has done in a responsible manner its work to preserve and manage the historic buildings and revolutionary relics associated with the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and feats performed by the family members in Mangyongdae on the principle of historicism and to restore them to their former glory.

There took place a meeting on Thursday to mark the 50th anniversary of the museum.

Present there were officials concerned and officials and employees of the museum.

A congratulatory message sent by the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea to the officials and employees of the museum was conveyed at the meeting.

The message highly praised the officials and employees of the museum for having devotedly worked to creditably perform the honorable duty for resolutely defending and widely explaining the revolutionary tradition of Juche with white gem-like loyalty to the party and the leader.
