They included meetings, photo exhibitions and film shows in Pakistan, Iran and Austria.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Participants in the film shows watched the Korean films including "Kimilsungia" and "Eternal Treasure Praising the Sun".

Present there were personages of political parties and organizations and people in the relevant countries.

Reporters and speakers including the secretary general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, the general secretary of the Sind State Committee of the Pakistan Awami National Party praised Kim Il Sung as a prominent leader and legendary hero who founded the immortal Juche idea, liberated the country and built the socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The president of the International Taekwon-Do Association in Iran said that the friendly and cooperative relations between Iran and the DPRK were provided by Kim Il Sung, adding that they would grow stronger in future, too.

The chairman of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK stressed that Kim Il Sung was a benefactor of national resurrection as he defeated the Japanese imperialists and liberated the country.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Karachi and Lahore, Pakistan and Vienna, Austria.
