They included seminars, lectures, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Romania, Germany, DR Congo and Colombia.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the revolutionary activities of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

On display there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing successes made by the DPRK's army and people in building a thriving socialist nation.

Film shown included Korean film "Eternal Treasure Praising the Sun".

The chairman of the Romanian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun said:

The deputy general secretary of the C.C., the Communist Party of DR Congo who doubles as chairman of the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association in a lecture stressed that the DPRK could invariably advance along the road of independence and socialism thanks to the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu who led the Korean revolution to victory under the unfurled banner of Songun.
