The message said the educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 207.8 million yen sent by the Marshal instill great strength and courage into all the Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan and powerfully encourage them to the patriotic movement.

The Central Standing Committee of Chongryon extends the highest glory and thanks to the Marshal for showing constant loving care for the development of the democratic national education of children of Koreans in Japan, the message noted, and continued:

We will enshrine the firm faith that we will surely win as there is you however hard the situation may be, uphold you as the unitary center of unity and leadership and further cement Chongryon as the overseas Koreans' organization of you.

We will hold fast to national education as a lifeline of the movement of Koreans in Japan, thoroughly establish Juche in education, steadily improve the contents and form of national education and bring up the rising generation to be genuine patriots intensely loyal to you and competent talents of the nation who will carry forward the cause of patriotism.

We will resolutely oppose and reject the Japanese authorities' unprecedented moves to suppress the national education and powerfully arouse the whole organization and Koreans in Japan to the struggle for defending the national education which the preceding patriotic generations have defended at the cost of their lives.
