The Kuwaiti paper Kuwait Times on April 1 in articles titled "The Korean people celebrate birthday of President Kim Il Sung" and "The sun is everlasting" said that he, the father of socialist Korea, is being praised as the sun for his personality, qualification and exploits.

The paper said that he founded the Juche idea to usher in the era of independence, a new era of the human history, and pursued the benevolent politics all his life with the warm love for the people.

It noted that he lies in state at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and he is always alive in the hearts of all people as the sun.

The Cambodian newspaper Kmae Amata on April 1 in an article titled "Kim Il Sung, great man" said:

He is the founder of the Juche idea and the Songun idea.

If one believes in the people and rely on them at all times one will always emerge victorious; if one is forsaken by them, one will always fail. This is his maxim.

He walked along lanes across fields to provide the people with a happy life during the last moments of his life, too.

The April 3 issue of the Malaysian newspaper Guang Ming Daily in an article titled "The President's desire" said:

The President believed in people as in Heaven and dedicated his whole life to achieving the prosperity of socialist Korea and bringing the happiness to the people.

He set it as the supreme principle of activities of the party and state to improve the standard of people's living and devoted himself to doing so.
