The festival was held, divided into political, economic, art and sports festivals. Pyongyang City took the first place in total points.

Present at the closing ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and school youth and children.
