A meeting was held in Havana, Cuba and lectures, photo exhibitions and film shows in India and El Djazair, Algeria on April 14 and 15.

On display at the venues of the photo exhibitions were photos documenting exploits of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and other photos showing the might of Songun Korea.

Films shown included Korean film "The Arch of Triumph".

The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification said:

Comrade Kim Il Sung was the peerlessly great man.

He was the veteran and tested elder statesman who defeated U.S. and Japanese imperialism and built a powerful socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence.

He was a close friend of Cuba as he rendered material aid and moral assistance to the Cuban people when they suffered ordeals.

We will make every effort for Korea's reunification, the desire and behest of Comrade Kim Il Sung.

The principal of an Indian school in a lecture titled "Father of the people" said:

Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, is deeply revered by the people as the benevolent father.

He regarded it as his great duty and pleasure to serve the people.

That is why the Korean people are holding him in high esteem as the eternal President of the DPRK.

He is alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also progressive mankind.
