Koreans in Japan Meet in Osaka Prefecture of Japan

Tokyo, April 22 (KNS-KCNA) -- A rally of the officials and activists of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was held in Osaka City on April 18. They are waging a general advance for the 70-day movement to make the 23rd Congress of Chongryon a foundation for making a leap forward in the efforts to usher in a new heyday in the glorious Kim Jong Un's era. Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man and Vice-Chairman Pae Ik Ju of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Pu Yong Uk, chairman of the headquarters, and other officials and activists and chairpersons of 9 local headquarters in Kanto, Tokai, Kinki and Chushigoku. Pu Yong Uk in his report referred to the successes achieved in the "Osaka one-mind movement for taking the lead in the 70-day movement" and called for playing the leading role in the whole organization's last drive of the movement with doubled efforts. Speakers expressed their resolutions to register signal successes in their units' work and thus greet the 23rd Congress of Chongryon with proud achievements. An appeal to officials and activists of the Chongryon organizations at all levels was read out at the meeting. Ho Jong Man in a speech expressed belief that all the officials and activists of Chongryon in Osaka would surely develop the Osaka movement into a new heyday as required by the era. |
