Indian paper Defence and Humanity allocated one whole page to articles illustrated with a photo of the President on April 3.

The article "The eternal sun" said:

The President showed humankind the way ahead and embraced all people with his warm affection just like sunshine, loving them with ardent zeal and devotion.

Though he passed away, his idea and exploits are shining forever like the sun.

The Korean people have him lie in state at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and uphold him as the eternal President of the DPRK.

He will always live as the eternal sun of humankind.

The April 12th issue of Suara Karya, an Indonesian paper, carried an article which said he is enjoying profound reverence from the people for his great exploits on behalf of the era and history.

Uruguayan paper La Juventud on April 13 carried an article "President Kim Il Sung, man of great eminence in the 20th century" with a portrait of the smiling President. It said that he built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

A Guinean broadcasting service aired a special program under the title "Birth of Kimilsungia" on April 8.
