S. Korea's Anti-DPRK Human Rights Racket Blasted

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- The first vice-minister of the south Korean puppet Ministry of Foreign Affairs some days ago said at the Committee for Diplomacy and Unification of the "National Assembly" that he conveyed the UN the "willingness" to set up "Office for Human Rights in North". The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry also said that the ministry would "actively examine" the issue on setting up the office. Even the coteries of the "Saenuri Party" made public a joint statement calling for the establishment of the UN "Office of Human Rights in North". Minju Joson Friday in a commentary terms this another politically-motivated intolerable and despicable provocation against the DPRK. The office is a plot-breeding organization that was formed by the U.S. to realize a "regime change" in the DPRK under the pretext of human rights issue, the paper says, and goes on: The present south Korean conservative forces seek to set up the office in south Korea, an indication that they are die-hard confrontational maniacs putting their predecessors into the shade. The aim sought by them through their desperate bid to have the office based in south Korea is to use it as a base for internationalizing the non-existent "human rights issue" of the north and stepping up the anti-DPRK human rights racket to seriously hurt the dignity and social system in the DPRK. The conservative ruling quarters also consider putting pressure on the opposition parties and progressive democratic forces in a bid to ram the "Bill on Human Rights in North" through the NA, and use it in favor for the elections to local self-governing bodies slated for June. The puppet group should ponder over the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by its unwarranted anti-DPRK human rights campaign and behave with discretion. |
