They began with songs "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" at the plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Arch of Triumph, Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other venues in Pyongyang.

The participants presented dances in boundless reverence for the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who set world examples in building the revolutionary armed forces of Juche and developed the KPA into matchless and powerful revolutionary Paektusan army holding high the banner of Songun.

They danced to the tune of "The Guerrilla March", "Unforgettable Echoes over Lagoon Samil", "Our General Is the Best" and other songs. The mood revved up as "Our Leader Loved by People" and other songs blared reflecting the determination of the enthusiastic Songun youth vanguard to always advance straight forward to the final victory of the great Paektusan nation under the leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un. They danced cheerfully, clapping their hands to the tune of songs like "Wherever We Go, We'll Never Forget Our Comradeship" and "At a Breath".

The dancing parties in Pyongyang ended with the chorus "Revolutionary Armed Forces Upholds Leadership of Marshal Only".

Similar dancing parties were held in provincial seats, cities and counties on the same day.
