The Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in a statement on April 19 said:

The Tokyo District Court made a criminal decision on the sale of the land and building of the Korean Hall of Chongryon, stunning the world.

The decision makes one see through the Japanese authorities' aim to stamp out the culture of Koreans in Japan and ostracize them from social life.

The Japanese authorities should roll back at once the illegal decision and come out for improving the relations with the DPRK with good intention.

The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association in a statement on April 20 said:

We protest against Japan's undemocratic act.

The Japanese authorities finally made a decision on allowing the sale of the Korean Hall of Chongryon in the wake of their moves to obliterate Chongryon by employing all means.

Is there any legal ground for them to make such an absurd decision?

This is another illegal act perpetrated by Japan which committed untold crimes against the Korean people after invading Korea.

We vehemently condemn the Japanese authorities for resorting to every possible means and methods to disturb the efforts for improving the relations between the peoples of the DPRK and Japan.
