A student of a secondary school in Nam District, Kwangju city on April 22 jumped himself from an apartment house to suicide himself, unable to bear violence at the school. Earlier, three students of secondary and high schools jumped themselves to suicide one after another in one week in Kwangju, sparking off a big furor.

The suicide of students is an inevitable product caused by south Korean society where the hope for the future, ambition and human rights are being ruthlessly trampled down.
