New Kinds of Electronic Pianos Developed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- New kinds of "Sobaeksu"-trademarked electronic pianos (Models 3, 4, 5) have been developed by the Music and Video Electronics J.V.C. in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The new models are higher in touch sense and far better in timbre than the existing pianos. In particular, the Model 5 for professional can sound as much timbres as the Grand piano. Those sectional pianos are equipped with MIDI and batteries. Kim In Chol, a section chief of the company, told KCNA that the pianos are on hot demand among art groups, institutions, schools and families. |
