On display at the venue of the meeting were photos documenting undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and books and photos introducing proud successes achieved by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in the drive for building a thriving nation.

The meeting reviewed achievements and experience in the work for the study and dissemination of the Juche idea last year before discussing an action program for this year. It elected the new leadership of the national committee.

Juha Kieksy, chairman of the national committee, said in his report that the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and enriched by Kim Jong Il is greatly encouraging the world progressive people.

He praised the great vitality of the Juche idea, saying that he visited the DPRK recently and witnessed the fact that it is turning into a paradise of the people in which the Juche idea is applied under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Referring to the successes achieved by the national committee in the work for studying and disseminating the Juche idea, he stressed the need to conduct the work in close combination with the solidarity activities supporting the just cause of the Korean people.

Juha Kieksy was reelected chairman of the national committee.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
