Papers Mark May Day

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Papers here Thursday editorially mark May Day. The history of the Workers' Party of Korea is shining as the proud one in which workers, peasants and intellectuals of the DPRK have set examples in the era for building a rich and powerful country, fulfilling their mission as masters of the country carrying on the revolution and construction under the guidance of the great leaders, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on: President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il aroused workers, peasants and intellectuals and successfully the revolution and construction with the Juche-based viewpoint on the working masses. Under the guidance of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu the working people in the DPRK have performed great feats which will shine long in the history of building a rich and powerful country. The cause of building a rich and powerful country started in Mt. Paektu has entered the new century of Juche. The present era steered by Marshal Kim Jong Un is one of sea changes and leap forward in advance of Songun Korea and one for the final victory in building a thriving nation. It is the most important affair for the DPRK to build an economic power and improve people's living standard as it has already emerged full-fledged politico-ideological power and military power. It is none other than the working people of the DPRK who are carrying it out. Optimistic is the future of the cause of building a thriving nation as the working people of the DPRK have turned out with a single mind to glorify the great Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea. Minju Joson says that a thriving socialist country would surely be built on this land thanks to the dynamic struggle of the working people remaining faithful to the cause of the leader and the Party. |
